Firstly, a disclaimer ... the information on this site is correct and accurate to the best of my knowledge based on the information that I've been able to find on these 30+ year old guitars. That doesn't mean that it's right!

I'd particularly like to thank Tim Gentle of Tim Gentle Music (from where I bought my first Kawai in c1979) who was able to send me copies of the original Kawai catalogues from the late 70's, which he'd naturally kept just waiting for someone to ask for them. Tim's apparently still regularly gigging with a KS-11-XL.
