Jos in Holland
Introduction: Another email contact, I think that Jos originally contacted me when he was searching for more info on his Kawai guitar and found references to Kawai on my blog.
The guitar: Jos has 3 Kawais (although the earlier ones - dating from the early 1960s - are probably still branded Teisco). In the middle of his photo is his KS-10-Jr in sunburst finish.
The story: I bought my KS-10 new in 1981. It was intended to be my spare guitar, in case my Gibson Les Paul was damaged. But the Kawai had more personality and individuality - I've never seen anyone else playing a Kawai guitar. As it also had all the sound and quality of the Gibson, my Les Paul Black Beauty was never loved quite as much again after I bought the Kawai!
